UDISE, or the Unified District Information System for Education, is a national database for India’s school education system. Managed by the Ministry of Education, it is the country’s single largest database for school-related information, providing timely and accurate data for evidence-based policymaking.
Evolution of UDISE to UDISE+
The system has evolved to UDISE+, an updated and more advanced version launched in 2018–2019.
